Oversee all aspects of Investment Administration related to the Brussells operation. This position will work very closely with the head of investment operations in New York.
 
Core responsibilities:

Direct all institutional seperate account operations including daily accounting and cash, position and market value reconciliations (daily/monthly) and client reporting for proprietary accounts.
Oversee administration for Luxembourg registered funds, which would include third party oversight of outside service providers.
Oversee all aspects of trade support and settlement processes for European trading.
Assist in developing and implementing detailed policies and procedures for all aspects of Investment Administration.
Develop a robust training programme for Investement Administration staff.
Work very closely with portfolio managers and research teams to ensure that they have real time account information to make investment decisions.
Liaise with NY performance group to ensure that account level and composite level performance is accurate.
Identify control lapses and implement procedures to rectify and detected operational weaknesses.
Special projects, where applicable.

Required Skills:

University degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance
Minimum of 13-15 years of relevant industry experience
Strong understanding of operations surrounding institutional seperate accounts, international settlements and trade support
Multi-currency accounting experience
Solid understanding of F/X transactions and global withholding taxes
Strong computer skills, ePAM accounting system a plus
Knowledge of OMGEO Global OASYS, ALERT, CTM, SWIFT and Charles River order management system a plus.
Strong writing, analytical and management skills
Has a solid understanding of various securities and derivative products
High proficiency (written and spoken) of the English language
