A Fund Service needs a Fund Accountant to join a Securities Services group containing two business units of : Fund services and Global Custody.
This Contract position is to join the Hong Kong Fund Services team and offers an excellent rate of pay.

The Fund services solutions including fund accounting and administration, transfer agency, trusteeship and Global Custody to traditional, hedge fund and private equity fund managers and institutional investors.
Areas covered include Comprehensive global, regional and domestic services for the asset management industry globally, including fund administration, global custody, corporate trust and loan agency and sub custody and clearing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare financial valuations, year-end financial statements, and other reports related to unit trusts and/or mutual funds
• Handle daily client inquiries and perform cash management and foreign exchange processing
• Draft other ad hoc client reports when necessary
• Perform accurate and prompt processing of transactions
• Maintain book of accounts and reconcile records for portfolio holdings and cash positions
• File records of correspondence and processed instructions for audit purposes
REQUIREMENTS
• University graduate with a degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
• Preferably accounting and operation experience in the mutual fund/unit trust industry
• Ideally be a candidate for professional accounting examinations
• An organised team player with good coaching and monitoring skills
• Good problem analysis and resolution skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese
• Sound PC skills including MS Word and Excel
